About Cord Blood Review
In light of the sheer volume of information available about stem cell research and cord blood, we decided to set up a site which effectively acts as a central resource and information clearing house for the various organizations, institutions and the public to share information about this often controversial topic.
Cord Blood Review.com is dedicated to providing a platform for unbiased review and discussion around the topics of stem cells (their usefulness, harvesting procedures, storage and application), and umbilical cord blood banking .
Since these topics are often explained elsewhere in overly scientific jargon, we have undertaken to explain each aspect in the plainest possible language so as to demystify the concepts and make the information as widely accessible to the public as possible. It is hoped that this in turn will facilitate a process whereby individual members of the public are able to make informed decisions on their own.
The staff, members and affiliates of CordBloodReview.com do not necessarily endorse, agree with or in any way encourage anyone participating in the cord blood banking industry. Our role is simply to provide the most up to date and relevant information available regarding stem cells and cord blood. Information at this website is generally independently verified before publication, however due to the nature of the science and ethical issues involved, there may be unconfirmed information contained in articles, or comments submitted by third parties. We take no responsibility for the accuracy or not of any content submitted to this site and stress that while every effort is made to verify the facts, not every instance may be caught in time. Your interaction with this site is accepted as tacit agreement to the fact that information published here is for information and research purposes only. If in doubt about the veracity of any statements made at this site, please consult with an expert in the relevant field for clarification. This site does not claim to be the leading authority on the topics contained within.
